Heritage Weekend Walk
Join More than A Run (MTAR) to enjoy a walk following the Park to Park Route. Starting and finishing at Ormesby Hall, the route will pass through the Hall’s parklands to Stewart Park touching parts of the original Marton and returning to Ormesby Hall ambling through fields and woods. We’ll point out features and facts of interest taking the opportunity to reminisce with your fellow walkers enjoying the locality and outdoors. The walk will take approximately two and a half hours including a short comfort break at Stewart Park.
Before and after the walk there are opportunities to visit the mansion at Ormesby Hall and wander around the formal gardens. Not forgetting a visit to the Pennyman Tearooms.
Take advantage as it is free entry to Ormesby Hall from Friday Sunday 15th as part of Heritage Open Days.
If you can, we’d appreciate a donation to the walk on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis. But please do not let this put you off coming if you cannot.
The walk is approximately 3 miles long and please as is typical for this country, we ask that you wear suitable footwear and outdoor clothing.
